Do you welcome children?
Families are welcome to dine however children under the age of 16 years must always be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 years and be supervised at all times.
Please note that the serving of alcohol is at the manager’s discretion; there may be occasions when service is limited or refused to a whole group. We do not permit the purchase or consumption of alcohol by under-18s on our premises.
Do you welcome dogs?
Canine visitors to our beautiful rural pub in Surrey are always welcome and will enjoy complimentary doggy treats which you’ll find on the bar when you arrive.

What is the dress code?
Customers are requested to remain fully clothed throughout their visit, including wearing shoes
Do you welcome breastfeeding mothers in your pubs?
Yes, mothers are welcome to breastfeed in our pub.
Do you permit the use of electronic cigarettes/vaporisers?
We do not permit the use of electronic cigarettes/vaporisers inside our pub.
Do I have to prove my age?
We do not permit the purchase or consumption of alcohol by under-18s on our premises.
We have adopted the Challenge 21 policy. If a member of staff believes that you look under 21 years, you will be asked to prove that you are aged over 18 years.
Customers aged 16 and 17 years, visiting without adult supervision, may also be asked to confirm their age.
Acceptable documents to prove your age are a valid passport, a UK or Ireland photo card driving licence, a UK military ID or any PASS-accredited proof-of-age card. All ID must have a photograph of you, include your date of birth and outline the validity period for the document.
Our staff may accept other identification documents which meet all of the ID requirements; however, this is at their sole discretion – if they are unsure about the document’s authenticity/validity or are unfamiliar with its features, they may feel unable to accept them.
If you are asked to provide valid ID to show that you are aged over 18 years and our staff feel that they are unable to accept it, for whatever reason, then we will not allow you to purchase or consume alcohol.
Do you show sport?
On occasions we may show major sporting events, with or without sound. Please contact us for confirmation of any events planned to be shown.
Is there free Wi-Fi?
We offer unlimited free Wi-Fi. Please ask a member of staff for the password.
Can we refuse entry or service?
We have the right to refuse service and/or entry to the premises – without providing you with a reason.
Customers’ behaviour
We expect all customers to behave in a manner which is appropriate to the pub environment and is considerate to our employees and other customers. We will not, at any time, tolerate abusive, harassing or illegal behaviour. Our employees have the right to work without being physically or verbally abused.
We will work with the police to prosecute those who are physically or verbally abusive to our employees.
Do you cater for different dietary requirements?
While we have procedures for segregating preparation within meals and drinks, kitchen and bar service may involve shared preparation/cooking areas. If you have any specific food/drink allergen needs, please inform us when ordering; we will take reasonable steps to prepare your meal safely, although cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment or products.
Whilst we endeavour to ensure that our vegetarian and vegan meals have been prepared and cooked completely separately from any meat or fish products or their derivatives, we are not able to provide an absolute guarantee.
In addition, we are unable to guarantee the complete segregation during preparation and cooking of different meat products such as beef and pork.
